Benefits of Festival Registration

By registering early you will be sure to get tickets for the events you wish to attend, as some events will be sold out.

With the $25.00 Festival Registration fee, you: 

- may win a return ticket to Finland in a Finnair draw
- may win a free trip to Niagara Falls on June 30th.
- can purchase a ticket to each ticketed event 
- can attend free lectures with the Festival ID badge
- can take part in tournaments
- can purchase tickets for special, discounted sightseeing tours with commentary in Finnish
- can book discounted accommodations near festival site
- will receive a free Souvenir Program Booklet (otherwise $5.00)
- will get free admission to Nordic Fair
- will get free admission to the Nygård Fashion Show

The first 100 registration packages received will get an extra ticket for the Finnair draw.

Instructions for Registration

1. All prices are in Canadian dollars.


2. The Festival Registration fee of $25.00 must be paid by all persons over 18 years of age. Children 18 years and under need not register.


3. Use one form per family. Your registration will be filed under the family name indicated as person # 1, who will also be the contact person.


4. A registrant can purchase one ticket to each ticketed event.


5. Lecturers and performers must register, but are exempt from the Festival Registration fee of $25.00.  Indicate this status on the form, plus the name of the performance group, if applicable.


6. Fill in additional tournament registration form(s), if applicable.


7. Payment by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Amex) or by cheque payable to Finnjoy 2008 must accompany the registration.


8. Submit your Festival Registration form by mail to:   Finnish Canadian Grand Festival 2008, 795 Eglinton Avenue E, Box 2, Toronto, ON, M4G 4E4 Canada, or by fax to 905-881-7480.


9. Registration packages will be processed in the order they are received and a confirmation will be sent.


10. You may pick up your package at the Finnjoy Registration Office at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, 5040 Yonge St. between 9 am and 5 pm on Friday June 27, and Saturday June 28. It will contain your tickets, Festival ID badge, Souvenir Program Booklet and tickets to the Finnair draw.


11. Onsite registration is available at the Finnjoy Registration Office between 9 am and 5 pm on Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28, 2008.


12. If any part of your order cannot be filled, you will be notified. Adjustments regarding payment will be handled at the Finnjoy Registration Office when you pick up your package.


13. Cancellations made in writing and postmarked by May 31, 2008, will receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee of $10.00. Refunds after May 31, 2008 will be at the discretion of the Finnjoy committee.
